Duke and UNC Make Conde Nast Traveler’s List of 20 Most Beautiful College Campuses
The two rival schools, which are located only a few miles apart, are used to being ranked highly in athletics and academics and can add another honor to their list. Duke, made the list not only for their exquisite chapel but also for the expansive Sarah P. Duke Gardens and Duke Forest. The 700 acres of forest located beside the campus and the gardens which were designed by American landscape designer Ellen Biddle Shipman make the Duke University Campus a prime spot for guests and residents alike.
The UNC campus has much to offer as well. Their well known sculptures such as the Morehead-Patterson Bell Tower are one of a kind but the University’s grounds are what wins the crowd. The campus has a designated botanical garden and landscaping throughout the campus which makes it a desirable location for visitors to enjoy.
