Did you know that Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and Cary are considered some of the triangles most affluent ZIP codes? According to a recent article on Bizjournals.com, Cary took the No.1 and No. 3 spots. American City Business Journals calculated affluence ratings for 22,568 ZIP codes with a population of 1,000 or more across the country based on a proprietary formula. Bizjournals stated that among the top 5 ZIP codes the median household income was in the $90,000 range and about two-thirds of working population who live in these areas have jobs in management, business, science or arts.
