Staging your home = less time on the market!

Staging can be the extra step for sellers to take to help sell their home faster and for a better price. Two very important factors to consider when selling a home, but those are not the only benefits. A buyer wants to picture themselves living in a home and are looking for homes that won’t require a lot of work before moving in. According to NAR’s most recent report, seventy-seven prevent of buyers’ agents said staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home. Buyers’ want move-in ready homes they can enjoy right away.

How can a seller differentiate their home from those other homes for sale? Sellers should consider staging their homes in a way to showcase the potential lifestyle the buyer could have if they decided to move in. Staging the living room for buyers was found to be most important at fifty-five percent, followed by staging the master bedroom at fifty-one percent, and staging the kitchen at forty-one percent. Being able to make and emotional connection is important in order to be able to appeal to the potential buyer and stand out in their minds when it comes to making an offer.

Not only are staged homes easier to market but over 90 percent of homebuyers start their search online and 63 percent of homebuyers will drop by after viewing a home they like. Newly staged homes create more buyer interests and attracts buyers to wanting more information about the home.
