Supplies:

  • 25 Recycled Wine Corks
  • Orange Acrylic Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Knife
  • Green Felt
  • Scissors
  • Twine

How To:

  1. Mix the orange acrylic paint with a little water to dilute the paint a little bit. This step is not necessary, but will give your finished pumpkin a more rustic look. Paint both ends of all but one of the corks. Set these aside to dry.
  2. Once dry, place 4 corks in a row and hot glue them together. repeat this step with rows of 5, 6, 5 then 4 again. Hot glue each row together as seen in the picture to form the curricular shape of a pumpkin.
  3. You should have one remaining cork. Cut it in half and glue to the top of your pumpkin as the stem.
  4. Cut leaves out of the green felt and glue them around the stem of your pumpkin.
  5. Lastly, tie some twine around the stem of your pumpkin to resemble the vine.

There you have it, you are now on your way to a fully functioning Fall themed home!
