Now that the sun has reappeared for the we can get out and enjoy fall and the many activities it has to offer!
Even though the weekend starts on Friday you can enjoy your Throwback Thursday for one more day at North Hills with their Tribute Concerts! This Friday’s show is featuring the 90’s tribute band Here’s to the Night. The concert is at Midtown Park located at 4011 Park at N Hills St, Raleigh, NC 27609 and you can jam out to all of your favorite 90’s songs from 7-9PM.
On Saturday you can head over to Moore Square in Downtown Raleigh to participate in Triangle Run/Walk for Autism. There will be several different races – competitive and noncompetitive plus one for kids! In addition to the races there will be musical entertainment, a children’s play area with face painting and an inflatable castle plus a resource fair featuring a variety of businesses, service providers etc. The first race begins at 7AM. Another fun option for a Saturday activity is the 13th Annual Day in Downtown festival in Fuquay-Varina. The event will be held on Main Street in the historic downtown Fuquay district from Noon to 7PM. There will be live dances and music demonstrations, an arts & crafts fair, a beer & wine festival, and a food truck rodeo all along the downtown area. If you are looking for something to do on Sunday  the Downtown Cary Food & Flea Market is a good place to go. This event happens the 2nd Sunday of each month from Noon to 4PM at Ashworth Village in Downtown Cary.
