Should you work with a real estate team or an individual?

Many home buyers ask what the difference is and what benefits there are to work with a team structure versus an individual agent… It really depends on your priorities. An individual agent is ready and prepared to assist you from initial meeting, finding the house and helping you with all aspects of the process from going under contract until you close and move in. On the other hand, a team approach the agent shows you homes often will pass you to another agent for the contract to closing process. This sounds odd but it is nice to have a “contract to close” person focused on the details who enjoys the administrative side and is always office based – as most agents are out showing properties daily. You just have to decide which approach works best for you before you dedicate your self to the home buying process.

Within our team structure, the buyers agent spends time together with the client in the office first and focuses on the buyer consultation and needs analysis. This is a critical component for building rapport with the client, discovering their criteria and motivations and making sure they understand the home buying process. This ensures that the time you spend together looking at homes is productive and keeps you from spending time on homes that do not meet their needs. It is about creating the ultimate client experience, from day 1, so the buyer they will consider trusting Wilson Realty Group with referrals of their friends and family for years to come!
