Realtor.com compiled the list of the 20 hottest medium-size to large markets in the US right now. The list uses statistics like listing views per market and median days on market to show supply and demand of each area. Raleigh came in at the 15th spot which is pretty impressive for a east coast market considering California made up 13 out of the 20 on last months list.
The Raleigh market is in high demand due to the fast rate of houses selling – one or two months faster than other markets in the country! Buyers are eager and listings are getting two to five times more views than the average listing. The Raleigh market has been gaining lots of attention nationally, often ranking highly in lists naming it best place to live and the best place to get a job.
