We’ve been curious lately, and many of our clients who are selling their homes are as well, as to what buyers in the area are looking for. So, we asked around and found the top 4 things home buyers in the Triangle are looking for…
1. Open Floor Plan. An open floor plan has been the top request from buyers in the Triangle area. Perfect for entertaining, buyers want to be able to not feel closed off from the rest of their home if they’re in the kitchen or watching TV in the den, regardless of the price point.
2. Master Bedroom. A nice master bedroom along with lots of closet space was the second most-requested feature from buyers.
3. Kitchen. Thanks to an endless supply of new recipes from the internet, buyers have been very interested in a spacious kitchen with a ton of counter space.
4. Backyard. Whether for entertaining purposes or just letting the kids play on hot summer afternoons, a large backyard was a must for many buyers.
