In Wake County, August saw an increase in the number of properties sold in the past 6 months. This number rose from 5941 in July to 6672 in August with the inventory level dropping from 4.6 to 4.2. The average sold price also rose, from $255,797 to $261,745. And not only are homes selling for more money, but they are selling faster as well! The average days on market dropped from 107 to 104.
