Raleigh had 78% of survey participants stating they felt “safe walking alone at night in the city or area where they live”. These results tied Raleigh with Denver-Aurora, CO for second place. This is the second year in a row that Raleigh has tied for second in this poll held by Gallup. Last year Raleigh tied with Austin, TX at 77%. If this upward trend continues we could soon take the lead!
