The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index ranks metro areas and states on overall well-being based on these factors: Work environment, emotional health, life evaluation, healthy behaviors, physical health and basic access. According to the research, Raleigh scored the highest for physical health, basic access, work environment, and emotional health. Durham scored high in life evaluation and healthy behaviors.

The index also showed over the past year, North Carolina has increased its overall score by 3 points. In fact, points for work environment have increased in NC by twelve points since last year.

It is great to see such positive rankings for our state. We would love to help you if you are interested in relocating to North Carolina.
