Located on nearly 400 acres of rolling, wooded terrain in North Raleigh, the impressive complex and grounds of North Ridge Country Club offer exceptional social and recreational opportunities for our members, their families and guests. The two 18-hole golf courses, aptly named Lakes and Oaks, were designed by Gene Hamm and George Cobb, and were later updated by John LaFoy to assure challenge and playability for golfers of all skill levels. In addition to the stately 70,000 square foot clubhouse, the North Ridge campus features a modern tennis and recently expanded fitness center, an inviting family-size pool and swim clubhouse, a cart and bag storage building, and a state of the art golf maintenance and equipment facility.
The Pool complex is a favorite gathering place for North Ridge families and accommodates sports and social activities for all age levels. From Junior Golf, Junior Tennis and the Killer Whales Swim Team to Parents Night Out and Middle School Dances, North Ridge Youth Activities are filled with learning, laughter and fun. They are designed to produce winners in the game of life in a fun and entertaining atmosphere as younger kids and teenagers alike build lifelong friendships and memories. North Ridge offers top notch tennis and fitness facilities. Our tennis program has an exceptional Director and programs for the young and old. We offer several junior tennis programs that cater to all skill levels. For the adults, we offer clinics, mixers, tournaments and private lessons. For those members who enjoy fitness classes, North Ridge Country Club offers a variety of on-going pilates and yoga classes, water aerobics, as well as a Summer Sports Camp for the youth.
One of the special privileges of membership at North Ridge Country Club is access to some of the most creative and delicious food offerings anywhere in Raleigh. From our International Nights in The Ridge to the ever-popular Seafood Extravaganza in The Bluebird Grill, our culinary staff lead by Executive Chef Bruce Grasley, produces fresh, exciting and original gourmet selections for every meal of the day
